Introduction

Nafugo Sacco is a church based lending financial institution affiliate with the FULL GOSPEL CHURCHES OF KENYA – NAROK REGION, which is headed by Bishop Dr. George Kambo. The Sacco was given birth in 2012, during an F.G.C.K Narok L.C.A Women Conference , during which Mrs. Harriett Mejah of C.I.C Insurance who was the guest minister challenged the women on the need to form a Sacco to pull their resources together. Bishop George Kambo took the initiative and sensitized members of F.G.C.K Narok L.C.a to form the Sacco; the idea was supported by the men fellowship during their December retreat at Narok Hope Centre . This gave birth to NAFUGO SACCO as a vehicle to raise the necessary capital and membership towards the desired end; raising standards of the church and its members and the society at large. The original registration inauguration was 36members . The Sacco has shown a positive growth over the few days, with new membership recorded day by day. The Sacco is registered under the Co-operative Society Act Cap 490 Laws of Kenya; registration No. CS /15871, fully running under the rules and regulations in Kingdom Excellence with the application of Kingdom Principles for lasting prosperity.
